Medulla - The Ever-Heart
"We don't get to decide what people do with the love we give them."Medulla is the Ancient of Love, Healing and Celebration. While the majority of academia in Western Arkos regards her as the weakest of the Prime Ancients, she is nevertheless an important aspect of many nation's history and culture. Most of the countries having The Church of Creation as their official religion integrate Medulla in some form in marriage ceremonies, name days, and even funerals. Similar to the Ancient Paires, Medulla's domain is very pratical for the general population of Western Arkos, giving her many followers among the performers, musicians, and aritsans of the world. Many clerics and healers also count themselves among Medulla's followers, as they view their restorative skills and abilities to be a gift from the Ever-Heart they must share with others. Medulla herself is said to reside in the beautiful realm of Avalar alongside the Ancient Joriel, though the extent to which the two interact is a subject of discussion amongst scholars and priests.
