Nightmaren

The name Nightmaren is the moniker given to the variety of horrid creatures that dwell within the twisting realm of Necrosis. While insect like Grubs make up the bulk of their ilk, Necrosis' spheres can spawn all manner of horrid fiends, from the intelligent to the terrifyingly strong.
If a Nightmaren is killed outside of Necrosis, it’s soul is transported back to the corrupted Realm where it is slowly reconstituted over time. This process may take weeks or years depending on how devastating the Nightmarens defeat was or how strong it’s home sphere is. If a particularly powerful Nightmaren is killed outside Necrosis, some of it’s vital parts may get lost in transit. The parts must be returned to the Nightmarens sphere in order for it to fully reconstitute itself.
