Xola (ZO • luh)

Location

Armonia is separated into three rings or sections; The center ring, middle ring, and outer ring. The center ring is known as the "In-Between". The middle ring is known as the "Circlet of Realms". The outer ring goes by many names, but is scientifically known as "The Great Expanse".   Xola is a series of islands, connected by bridges and tree houses. Each island is home to a variety of forests, enchanted woodlands, and rainforests. The islands of Xola are a mysterious phenomenon, connected by an ancient atmospheric bubble that not only allows each island to be inhabitable, it also keeps the islands from floating away from each other and in their little gravitational bubble. No one, including the Dykumic scholars, can decipher the reasoning behind such a phenomenon.  

History

When a Realm Weaver turns 16 an awakening will occur and their Syxx will go through an evolution. The evolution will strengthen the Syxx resulting in the Realm Weaver to begin having visions of the realms, along with divine and celestial happenings. The awakened Realm Weaver can now begin their training, this training deals in the newly enhanced Syxx, visions, and the newly developed ability of Rift Gates.   It has been learned by much older Realm Weavers that if an awakened Realm Weaver is not adequately trained they may become overwhelmed and drained by the countless visions. In some cases, untrained Realm Weavers have gone insane and some have committed suicide because of the visions and their effects. Realm Weavers should never be untrained even just having them trained in the ability to restrict visions and safely be able to receive them is a basic necessity in any Realm Weaver’s life.   Due to this risk on a Realm Weavers life, a group of Realm Weavers discovered the islands of Xola. These Realm Weavers decided that a proper training institution must be founded in order to help younger and newly awakened Realm Weavers in order to prevent untimely deaths. This idea was the founding idea for Xola, a training camp of sorts for realm weavers and an "Asylum amongst the Realms" (Asyl Blant Rikene).    

Purpose

Xola's purpose for existence is to train newly awakened Realm Weavers in how to properly and efficiently deal with vision, unknown location (usually due to rift gate incidents), along with the ability to stay out of or get out of dangerous situations, how to blend into your surrounding (most likely due to unknown locations), and how to create, use, and close a rift gate.  

Curriculum

Xola is a two-year training institute meant to train and make ready Realm Weavers so that they may be able to survive and strive after graduation. In the two years Realm Weavers stay at Xola, there are seven mandatory courses, along with electives of the Realm Weaver's choice.

Vision Saftey This course teaches the disciple how to safely receive and recover from visions.
Rift Gates This course teaches the disciple how to properly and efficiently create, use, and close a rift gate.
Displacement Saftey This course teaches the disciple proper safety protocols if ever lost in a rift gate accident, or other situation(s).
Adaption This course teaches the disciple how to adapt and blend into their surrounding so as to not attract unwanted attention.
Survival Training This course teaches the disciple how to survive in worst-case scenarios and how to survive in the wilderness.
Basic Self-defense This course teaches the disciple basic self-defense necessary in case of a dangerous situation or worst-case scenario.
Basic History and Culture This course teaches the disciple the basic history and culture of Armonía and each realm.
