Daerhys (Day-Er-Riss)
The Daerhys, also known as "Demons" to the common people of Arora, are the stuff of nightmares in the world of Arora. They are embodiments of chaos and destruction, a true terror to those who encounter them. They appear as twisted, grotesque forms of Cilanis and Krulanis, almost as if their bodies have been twisted and molded by an unseen force. Unlike the Werhys, they possess a malevolent intelligence and a ferocious hunger for destruction that is unparalleled. Daerhys are highly skilled in the use of Ferrousto, and they use this skill to enhance their abilities and unleash untold devastation upon their enemies.
The Daerhys are the subject of much debate and mystery throughout Arora. Some speculate that they were created by the gods as a punishment for the hubris of the old races, while others believe that they were crafted by ancient and powerful arcanists to serve as living weapons. However, according to the Taro Pantheon, they were created through twisted experimentation by Casmios, the rival of Tarolas, to create living weapons from the "Old Races". These weapons were imbued with ferrousto to use their incredible strength and magical abilities to dominate the old races during "The First Night".
Despite their origins, the Daerhys seem to have eventually turned on their masters, unleashing a wave of destruction and chaos that aided in the extinction of almost all life on Arora. Today, the Daerhys are rarely seen, but their presence is always felt. They lurk in the shadows, waiting for their chance to strike and unleash their terrible power upon the world.Their true purpose and origins remain shrouded in mystery, and few are brave enough to seek out the truth. However, there are always some who seek to harness the power of the Daerhys for their own purposes. These Daehrys Worshipers are whispered to seek dark magics and forbidden rituals that can summon these terrible creatures and bind them to the will of mortals. However, such attempts are extremely dangerous, as the Daerhys are not easily tamed and will turn on their masters at the slightest provocation. In the end, the Daerhys remain a symbol of the darkest aspects of the world of Arora. They are a reminder of the dangers of unchecked ambition and the terrible price that can be paid for seeking power beyond what mortals were meant to possess. To encounter a Daerhys is to come face to face with true evil, and those who survive such an encounter are forever marked by the experience.
