The Map Hall

The map hall is a grand room within the Great Library of The Citadel.
The entire floor is painted with a super detailed map of Carthia. Covering the map is a set of glass plates which allow people to walk over it without damaging it. Small Tokens are placed around the map to indicate particular locations. Each token has a unique marker which guides a reader to one of the shelves around the walls of the hall.
The map is commonly updated by the Scrivs when new settlements are founded or ruins discovered.
The Library pays for confirmed news that can be added to the map.
