Half-elves are a race that is a hybrid of human and elf traditionally, though there has been occasions that the person was born half elf and half something else entirely. They are a race that are found commonly in Arrasgoth. They have only recently started to exist in the past 500 years due to the mixing of tribes of elves with other races. Half-elves normally gain the ambition and curiosity of their human parent mixed with the artistic and refined tastes of their elven parent. Many half-elves struggle with where they fit due to not living long enough to stay with elves, and living longer than the humans. A lot of half-elves choose to live solitary lives or join adventuring parties.

Anatomy

Half-elves look like the mixture of humans and elves that they are, with neither side feeling that they are human or elf when it comes to look. They tend to be similiar in build to their parents, though slightly less slender or broad like humans or elves. Their skin tends to be a mix of their parentage, giving them a large range of skin tones, but their eyes often are the same as their elven parent.

Growth Rate & Stages

Half-elves mature at the same rate as humans do and reach full maturity at 20 years old. However, they live much longer than humans do, often living over 180 years so this causes them issues of which society they feel they belong to.

Perception and Sensory Capabilities

Despite having human parents as well as elven parents, half elves do have the ability to see in the dark as if it was dim light. They also take on their elven heritage of not being able to magically be put to sleep and are not easily charmed by others. They also have the skill versatility of their human parents.
