Sylgyn Althagorad
Sylgyn Althagorad Thirteenth Grand Priest of the Silver Pyramids, Fourth Staff of the Ya Ath Fae. High Priestess of the Althaha. Sylgyn was once a member of the Farmantle Mages. She was a member of the clergy who were trying to defeat the Shroud from severing the divine connections. She was a member of the Silversmith Forgers in the Farmantles who crafted many of the magic items. Her father, was a member of the Ya Ath Fae, who took part in creating Shroud Fragments.
Her earliest duties was to conduct funeral rites for the dead elves going to the afterlife or being reincarnated in this one. However, once the Shroud began to sever ties between the mortal and immortal realms, her work became more complex. With her skill in weaving the divine and arcane together, she was chosen to become a Baelnorn. With the blessing of the Elven Powers, the gods and goddesses worshiped by the Ya Ath Faen, and the blessing of the Abiding Council, she began construction of the Silver Pyramids.
Eventually after a battle which has been blotted out of history books, Sylgyn completed the ritual of becoming a Baelnorn, a lich with special charge of keeping watch over the elves. However, due to her lack of power while she cast the ritual, she is never allowed to leave the grounds of the Silver Pyramids.
She formed the Althaha Priesthood, under the eye of the Abiding Council and the Priesthood of the Fae folk, to tend to the grounds, and to study the intermingling of the divine and arcane powers of the world.
