The Aegis

The Aegis is a small special special forces unit emneded into the royal guard and other postions inside the royal court. The exact members of this unit are not know to anyone but the current active Imperial Didact.

The Aegis has four memebrs in total. They are a very small team when active. But they Didact keeps the information of future or potential memebrs on files. When it come to reserves there is not typically any agents held on standby but there is no rule indicating that they can not.

The second agent is typically the Agent assigned to a postion of menial tasks as a cover. A way to ensure the Empress's saftey and to raom relatively undetected.

Tactics

Their tactics hunge on anonimity and deception. Since they serve a dual purpose of protecting the leadership and halting the leadership if need be, it is imperative that they remnain hidden until called uppon.

Training

Every member of the Aegis is special trained. Every member must complete training the Erodels military as well as training is accordance with theirs specialty.

Logistics

The Aegies pools from most of the military supplies with impunity. Though most while on active duty are not pulling from the Military's armaments or other rescourses.

Recruitment

The members of the Aegis are personallt recruited by 'The Didact'. They can be chosen at any point in their military caeers but never within their first tours. The current Didact must construct a personal test for each recruit.

History

The Aegis was founded after the coup lead by the rebelious group called the 'Legionless'. The leader of the legionless was a memeber of the Imperial council and sucessfully killed eigning emperor. After the coup the Aegis was created as an elite guard that was meant to protect the ruler from the council. Later the Aegis' was adjusted after at tyrtanical empress used the Aegis as a weapon to swcure power. From then on the Aegis role is to prortect the Empire from its ruler and protec the ruler from its enemies.
