Cavaliers who join this order dedicate themselves to the mastery of archery and poisons, using these skills to outmaneuver and defeat their adversaries.
Order Skills
Cavaliers of the Order of the Daga Ndu gain proficiency in the Craft (Poison) skill and receive a +2 bonus on Craft (Poison) checks. They also gain proficiency with the shortbow as a bonus weapon.
Order Edicts
Lethal Precision
Cavaliers of this order must prioritize precision over brute force when using ranged weapons. They are forbidden from engaging in chaotic, reckless, or indiscriminate attacks.
Poisoncraft Mastery
Initiates must master the art of crafting and applying poisons. They are required to seek knowledge about various toxins and their applications.
Cunning Strategy
The order values cunning and strategy above all else. Cavaliers must use their wit to outmaneuver opponents and employ ambush tactics when necessary.
Challenge
Whenever a cavalier of the Order of the Daga Ndu issues a challenge they gain a +2 morale bonus on attack rolls made against the target.
While the challenge is in effect, the Cavalier's ranged attacks against the target deal additional poison damage equal to the Cavalier's level (minimum 1) on a successful hit. This damage is not multiplied on a critical hit.
The challenge imposes a -2 penalty to the target's saving throws against poisons, spells, or abilities used by the Cavalier.
Order Abilities
Toxic Arrow Mastery (Ex)
At 2nd level, cavaliers gain the ability to imbue their arrows with poison more effectively. This ability allows them to apply poison to arrows as a swift action. The poison's DC is increased by +2 when applied in this manner.
Venomous Precision (Ex)
Cavaliers of the Order of the Daga Ndu receive exceptional aim when using poisoned arrows. They gain a bonus of +2 on attack rolls when firing poisoned projectiles.
Swift Poisoning (Ex)
Advanced members can apply poison to their arrows with incredible speed. At 15th level, they can apply poison to multiple arrows equal to their Dexterity modifier as a full-round action.
Venomous Barrage (Ex)
At 20th level, members of the Order of the Daga Ndu achieve mastery in the deadly combination of archery and poison. Once per day, as a full-round action, the cavalier can fire a special venomous barrage. This barrage consists of a series of precisely aimed arrows, each coated with a potent poison of their choice.
The cavalier makes a number of ranged attacks equal to their Dexterity modifier against a single target or multiple targets within a 30-foot cone.
Each successful attack delivers poison as normal, with the added effect that the poison's DC is increased by +4.
If the target(s) fail their saves against the poison, they also suffer from poison's secondary effects on the same round.
