Minister Yui Asara

Before the Rebellion, Yui was a shrine maiden for one of the largest shrines dedicated to Suijin in Otosan Uchi and a talented healer attracting travellers from all over Rokugan to seek treatment. When the Rebellion sparked, the amount of people needing treatment soared. For the coming years the shrine was more akin to a hospital than a shrine. When the treaty was signed and there was a seat on the council for a Minister of Welfare, she was nominated by the people and reluctantly agreed to leave behind her shrine and help guide Rokugan.
