The Eastern Continent

The Eastern Continent lies in the East of the Frerian Sea. It holds the Kingdoms of Arion, Illini, Karta, and Arthos. The Continent is known for its beautiful landscapes, rich soil, and the vast differences of the kingdoms.
Arion is the smallest kingdom, lying just off the western coast. It is an island kingdom with the main island surrounded by many smaller islands.
Illini is the nearest kingdom, taking up much of the western part of the continent. The Kingdom is mainly known for it's intense prejudice against magic, as anyone possessing the slightest hint of magic is executed.
Arthos takes up the Northern part of the continent. In contrast to its neighbor, Arthos embraces magic as much as possible.
Karta is the final kingdom, and sits on the eastern side of the continent. They are a peaceful kingdom and remain neutral in any matter concerning Arthos and Illini.

Geography

Each of the Kingdoms have different geographical features. Arion has lush islands populated with lush jungles, plenty of ocean, and dangerous cliffs. The main island is ringed by beaches while the closer to the center of the island you get, the more it turns into jungle. The outlying islands are more dangerous, as many are surrounded by craggy cliffs and dangerous wildlife. Illini is mainly flatlands with rich, fertile soil. Rivers cut in from Arthos and drift out to sea. Many forests dot the landscape, much to dangerous for anyone to venture into. Arthos is similar to Illini in the east, but towards the west is where flatlands give way to mountain peaks. Karta shares a similar geography, but less flatlands and more mountain.

Fauna & Flora

Each kingdom has varying flora and fauna. Arion has very tropical flora and fauna that aren't found anywhere else in the continent. Arthos tends to have flora and fauna that are magic-touched. Illini has tried to rid themselves of magical flora and fauna, but failed. Karta has very mountainous flora and fauna, some of which can also be found in the mountainous region of Arthos.
