Nature Spirits
Spirits are the living representations of nature in artoria. They are mythological creatures in the religion Aaisni and Mhyrity.
Although all spirits are the same species in the mythology there are about four subgroups of Spirits such as. Water spirits, forest spirits, fire spirits and sky spirits.
Although, some spirits belong in none of these subgroups such as Inula Spirit of luck and Naris spirit of lightning. These lone spirits are referred to as lords or ladies of their respective domains.

Behaviour
Spirits are well known for their mischievous and sometimes cruel behaviour.
This as they usually do not understand the humans way of life and because living 1000+ years can get quite boring.
Although this is generally true a lot of phenomenons including angry or micschevous spirits depend on the spirits personality. A hotheaded fire spirit might act out in anger towards humans a lot more than a calm sky spirit.

History
It is believed spirits are older than the world itself. It is believed that each spirit was created by their respective spirit king or queen. They live in harmony for the most part now. however, when the world was very young the different spirits were at war with each other. This war was between the sky and water spirits against the fire and nature spirits. The war lasted for many centuries until the four finally made peace with each other.
Interspecies Relations and Assumptions
Spirits tend to keep to themselves and their domains most time. Most spirits do not interract with other spirits that are not of their realms as it feels unnatural to them. This exludes lords and ladies though, as they are the children of a spirit king or queen so they keep to one of those doamins if theyre not wandering around doing their own thing.
However they are known to go out of their way to play cruel tricks on humans who did their domains wrong.
They are also known to play pranks on humans just for fun.
