Persephon Dominion

A secluded and mysterious nation that resides in the Stovarean Wood of Northern Ashfell, nestled in the massive forests that dominate the landscape. The Dominion’s history is not widely known by those outside of its borders, except for some traveling scholars that were gifted special trust by the Dominions hierarchy. What is known is that the Dominion has been around since the waning years of the Calamity War, and that its government holds a deep faith in divinity. The Dominion holds nature to be sacred and worships three goddesses (which they call the three mothers) more fervently than any other in the pantheon: Artolis, Monivai, and Niviria. Its warriors are devout in their faith and utterly fearless in the defense of their lands. The Dominion places great pride in its art, music, and performance studies, believing the blending of these three practices to be the foundation of society. In the Dominion, everyone is an artist in their own way. From a farmer’s ability to cultivate their crops, to the most talented painter, and even to the skilled warriors of the Faceless companies that defend their borders. The dominion closely guards its borders against foreigners but allows free passage to its citizens and select groups of traders.
