Wizarding Uniform

The standard wizarding uniform has gone through a significant change throughout the years. It is, after all, mandatory for a wizard to wear his uniform while spellcasting. This used to be merely ceremonial, but through the course of the centuries the local wizards have developed a mental flaw in which they physically cannot perform their duties without a uniform. This also explains their needs to keep the uniforms hip an up-to-date.
Many things in the uniform have changed before, except for the red-colored robes and the hat. Everything besides those items are mostly up to the personal tastes of the wizard for whom the uniform is being made. A multitude of things, from stars, to spiders, to the word 'wizard' have been used as decorations for both the hat and the robes.
