Eastern Lights

Many of the cities of eastern Arvor were devastated by The Red Realm's attacks 100 years ago. In the aftermath of the war, the independent city-states of the east met to form a defensive alliance. Forks and Rivertide led the talks, but most of the eastern settlements – from quaint hamlets to bustling cities – joined.
As part of their pact, the members constructed a network of signal towers across the eastern continent to be lit in times of crisis. These towers became a symbol of the confederation and of their cooperation generally. Today, its delegates negotiate more than defense. To this day, the signal towers have not yet been lit. May they remain ever dark.
