Talcite
Talcite is the capital of the nation of Koth, and a prolific exporter of several magic items. But the settlement is perhaps most well-known for its griffon cavalry and the giant-powered lifts used to traverse the steep cliffs.
Government
Koth is a centrally-managed state, through a meritocratic bureaucracy organized into commissariats, and Talcite is its capital and center of government.
Defences
As a rocky city built into the cliffs, Talcite is in a defensible position against attacks from below. With ridges at many different altitudes, the settlement is home to the continent's largest and most well-trained griffon cavalry.
Industry & Trade
Products: Ores, stone (particularly talc, marble, and granite), moonstone (raw, polished, and dust), huckleberries, cave fungi.
Talcite is also a primary producer of several magic items for export, including: Amulets of Proof against Detection and Location, Driftglobes, Orbs of Direction, Orbs of Time, and Rubies of the War Mage.
