The Cardinals

The Cardinals are Ellora's caucus of priests, monks, holy warriors, and other acolytes. Most members of The Cardinals are devoted first and foremost to their divine cause, but the Caucus has also been a vehicle for worldly ambition.
The Cardinals attracted great controversy four years ago when they openly lobbied smith-priests of Moradin and Gond to step away from The Hammer and side with them. This fracture created distrust and rivalry between the Caucuses that has not healed today. Even many Cardinals felt their leader had gone too far and they initiated a change in leadership.
The Cardinals are chaired in The Consortium by Elder Arturus Minz, the highest-ranking priest in the nation’s Church of Tyr.
