Tyr

(a.k.a. Hand of Righteousness, The Even-Handed)

Tyr is the cosmic prosecutor of just wars. It was Tyr who led the forces against Asmodeus during his first ascent, and it was Tyr who mustered the celestial forces to defeat the old god of wrath and cast his body into the Abyss.   Tyr’s church is highly organized. While his temples are typically open to the public for food and shelter, they are often heavily fortified, serving as defensible strongholds in wartime. Tyr’s followers include many knights, war priests, judges, city watch, and magistrates. The Knights of Virtue are paladins sworn to his cause. His sworn abide by his strict code.

Tenets of Faith

Reveal the truth, punish the guilty, right the wrong, and be always true and just in your actions.   Protect and shelter the innocent. Shame those who wage war without regard for collateral damage.   To enter battle for a just cause is to accept the nobility of death. A life given so that others may live is a life magnificently lived.
