Beyonders

Abominations from the Beyond. Very little is known about these creatures, but they must pass through one of the Outsider realms in order to enter Ashaia and if they come into contact with a mortal race they are able to warp and infect it immediately, transforming it into a mindless abomination. It is speculated that outsiders do battle with Beyonders and keep them from the mortal world, which is what prevents major religious organizations from attempting to hunt Infernals down.
