Fury
Vile, winged beasts that kidnap men, forcing them to mate before viciously devouring them. The furies are fueled by a rotten, carnal desire and will often kidnap especially handsome men if able. How more furies are created is unknown, but the spawn of a fury and humanoid male is known as a Harpy. Furies possess a human-like intellect and terrible malice that, combined with their animal instincts, makes them a terrible creature to encounter. They have grotesque forms that mix avian features with humanoid ones and gaping, toothy maws that can only be seen in the worst of nightmares.

Genetics and Reproduction
Furies are all female and, as such, cannot reproduce via normal means. They are strangely compatible with humanoid anatomy and lay eggs soon after mating. These eggs are especially large, roughly the size of a sheep, and take around a month of incubation before hatching into a newborn Harpy.

Geographic Origin and Distribution
Nearly all furies inhabit The Kingfisher's Skyspire, though some have been seen inhabiting cliffs near the seaside where ocean life is especially rich.
