Harpy

The spawn of a Fury and a humanoid male, harpies are a race of entirely female bird-like humanoids. Unlike their mothers, harpies are not inherently evil and there have been occasions where an especially sadistic fury has kept her victim around long enough that he is rescued and keep his be-shelled offspring. Harpy children kept this way are strangely accepted by society, largely due to their staggering beauty, and tend to be quite friendly. The typical harpy is raised to be a sadistic, beautiful lure for male men, however, drawing them into the wilderness so their mothers might snatch him up.

Genetics and Reproduction

Harpies are entirely sterile and there are no accounts of them ever reproducing. Like their mothers, they are entirely compatible with typical humanoid males.
