Jann, True
All Bazaarites have been called Jann at some point, a term of endearment by the Shaitan. After Scheherazade retrieved and opened a magical urn from deep in the desert, things began to change. Every hundredth child of Bazaarite descent began being born with strange appearances and abilities, these became known as the true Jann. Through some unknown pattern of magic, Jann are born in a specific order: Earth, Air, Fire, and Water; meaning after an Earth Jann is born, an Air Jann will be born 100 births after.

History
The Shaitan often refer to Bazaarite Humans as Janni or Jann, edearing them and claiming them as distant kin. Apart from the leylines on their skin, the humans of Bazaar would almost entirely disagree, if not for one key point. Exactly one in every hundred children born with Bazaarite blood is born a True Jann, stunningly different in appearance and capabilities.
6 feet or low 7 feet tall range and often pushing 250 pounds. Solid creatures of muscle, an earth jann is often looked up to by other jann due to their calm nature and commanding stature. They often have much darker skin than the typical Bazaarite and sport bright yellow and green leylines.
They live for the sea and clean water, often causing them to move to coastal towns at the edge of the Mirabi, but sometimes they will settle for a town with a nice oasis to swim in. These jann have light or dark blue skin, with purpleish-blue leylines across their body.
Types of True Jann
While there are different types of shaitan beyond the four "most common," there are only four types true jann. The jann vary in build, ability, and skill, making them almost entirely races of their own.Air Jann
Quick, determined, and flighty, the air jann are often in single-minded pursuit of whatever goal they woke up fancying. They have snow-white hair that blows in the breeze as if unaffected by gravity andlight blue skin with remarkable white and blue leylines across their body. Unlike the typical, thin, golden leylines on a Bazaarite human, these lines are often brighter and have more complex patterns.Earth Jann
Slow to act and speculative, the earth jann are often much larger than a typical Bazaarite, in the highDune, Earth Genasi by u/phazone
Fire Jann
Impulsive and temperamental, the fire jann are quick to flare up in anger or take insult to innocent words. They are also fiercely loyal to their friends and will apologize for outbursts when warranted. Fire jann skin tone ranges from a pinkish-red to brimstone black, always with dark orange and red leylines playing across it.Water Jann
Wise and quiet, the water jann often help the earth jann to quell their more impulsive counterparts. by PrincePol
