The Opening

Era beginning/end

The opening marks the beginning of the rift. At about 2 p.m. a great blue flash was seen in the sky. After which a great open portal was seen to fill much of the sky as a stream of airships and other vessels flooded the planet of Ashanor.

Most of these airships were Orcs at first. However the rift would begin spewing forth many other species over time. Most of which were space faring but not all. Some beings came by way of magic, tenser's floating disks and the like as well.

This historic day marked a huge change for Ashanor and it's natives (Dragons/Beholders) were quite dismayed or so the orcs say. As they were first here their histories may be more complete however most of the species tend to lean towards the dwarven thoughts on the planets origin. However, since the orcs were very quickly enslaved by the dragons after their initial panic it may be the orcs just tell everyone what the dragons told them to.

Nonetheless the era directly after the rift opened would be one of great violence and much of the technology brought to the planet would be lost to time. Now while technology is in use in many places the ability to map and travel the stars is unkown atleast for the time being.

Most people also think that C.O.S.M. might have information on the beginning, but they certainly aren't sharing it with anyone else.
