Forest Goblin Village

After escaping their enslavement and assisting in creating the Zombie Pen, the Forest Goblin community decided to remain in the Infernal Forest, counting on its depths and reputation to protect them. They intentionally avoid contact with outsiders knowing that it is best for them to remain out of sight and out of mind of the more dangerous humanoids, like humans. This strategy has worked for them, up until the arrival of the PCs.
There are multiple Forest Goblin villages in the Infernal Forest and they stay in contact with each other. They maintain these separate villages so that the goblins are unlikely to be wiped out or enslaved all at once.
This goblin village has the following inhabitants:
 Chief Gugena
  • 6 Forest Speakers (Galasha, Yungu, Ungu, Pugh, Kemple, and Rugh)
  • 20 Forest Stalkers (including Embler)
  • 40 adult goblins
  • 30 juvenile goblins
If the PCs decide on peace with the goblins or convince the goblins this is so, the goblins will invite them to the village for a meeting with Chief Gugena and the Council of Wisdom. The council consists of forest stalker Embler, forest speaker Galasha, Tylge the smith, and Julga the herbalist.
The forest goblins would like to destroy the Green Miasma zombies in the zombie pen to heal the forest. They will need to clear the pen of zombies to allow woodcutters safer access to the largest groves of iron oak and bow trees. What remains of the largest plantations lies within the pen. Thus, the goblins and PCs have a shared goal they can work towards.
The goblins know about Welger’s Tower and the Hemlen Ruins.
If the PCs can earn the trust of the goblins by behaving well and assisting them, such as by providing useful tools, the goblins will be willing to introduce the PCs to the treant Ironroot. Ironroot also wants to clear the zombie pens and is willing to cooperate with efforts to reach this goal.
The goblins have a tradition of being wary of outsiders and will be cautious even if the PCs seem trustworthy. They will, however, deal honestly with the PCs if they earn their trust.
