X-Day

X-Day is the day that the aliens known as the Ash Gods first appeared on the planet formerly known as Earth. By the end of that day, humanity was all but dead and the world had been remade into the hellscape known as Ashrain. X-Day is also known as Extinction Day, referring to the mass extinction of life on Earth and the near extinction of the human race along with it.
