Ashton Creek Community Hospital

Ashton Creek Community Hospital is a small, medical facility located in Westwood, northwest of the town centre. The hospital has a range of services, including emergency care, surgery, and physical therapy, and it is staffed by a team of adequately competent healthcare professionals.

History

Ashton Creek Community Hospital was founded in 1919, in response to the growing medical needs of the town's residents, specifically tp combat the devastating influenza epidemic that began the preceding year. Originally, it was a small clinic with only a few beds, but it has since grown and expanded to become a full-service hospital. It has received a number of contributions from wealthy members of the community, with the most recent being a contribution from Theodore Reid.
