Physical Description

Body Features

Azka is a warrior who emphasises speed and agility over strength in combat. As such, her physique is best described as lithe and toned.

Facial Features

Her eyes are almond-shaped, framed with long eyelashes and thin though unkept eyebrows, pure black in colour. Her hair falls to the middle of her back and is straight. It is deep black in colour but can show red highlights when in direct sunlight. Azka usually keeps it in a loose braid when not on official business.

Identifying Characteristics

Azka is the darker-skinned of the Imperial cousins. She has a small cut across the outer part of her left eyebrow, souvenir from a training incident. She also has a small tattoo of a griffin on her right hip, matching the one on Alankar's own, her favourite cousin. Her eyes glow gold when she uses magic.

Personal history

Azka was born in Takien to Soraz Kelarens and Aesri Kelarens - though Aesri passed away soon after her daughter's birth.
As soon as she was presented to the Sky Gods, they recognised that - just as her father before her - Azka had the potential required to join the ranks of divinity. They sourced for her a personal trainer to develop her powers, skills and knowledge in the hope she would be able to ascend one day.
Under Haros Paliadis , she trained first as a potential goddess then as an Ankaran Knight . She entered the Sky Academy at age 20 to round off her training and in final preparations to enter the Ankaran Forces in service of her country.

Education

Azka was tutored from early childhood by Haros, her divine-appointed tutor. As well as giving the High Princess a sound grounding in politics, history, strategy and a few languages, Haros allowed her to develop a level of magic control far exceeding that of any other mages on Aralun - and potentially across all of Asrai. Upon reaching the age of 10, she started studies of martial arts, mastering the sword and bow by the age of 15. Upon completion of her more physical training, Azka successfully passed the test to receive the title of Ankaran Knight .
Currently enrolled in the Sarylin Sky Academy to become a Sky officer.

Accomplishments & Achievements

Jointly with her cousin, Azka is the first official Ankaran Knight in over 300 years.
