Archimus the Resurrected (Arc-ee-mus)
Archimus the Famed, Archimus the Freedom-Seeker, Archimus the Drakeslayer, Archimus the Resurrected. Archimus has been given all of these titles. All of these feats have given him mythic hero status. However, whether Archimus was a real historical figure, or simply a myth made up to push the ideas of Freedom, is not completely known. For those who follow the belief of Freedom he is the greatest example of it. Not only did he achieve his own personal freedom, but he also embodied the ideals of Freedom that he resurrected, through his own ability or through some sort of divine intervention is not known. It is said that he was so powerful that he prevented the first instance of the Calamity 600 years before it happened. It is also said that he was the one who led the Houses into the Cradle during the Calamity proper, this meaning that people believe he is Abas. It is believed that he appears to help in times where the ideals of Freedom itself are threatened in its battle against Chaos. A time where Freedom could potentially fail and against all hope, Archimus would appear to turn the tide and again set things to balance. However, most believe this to just be a myth.
