Personal history
The Drachen family has a long tradition of proud warriors. These fighters served their country proudly and became known as legendary warriors throughout the ages, now that lineage lies on Ferend. His father, Berend, cares little about the family tradition now. He has gone mad, giving up on his family’s work and turning to self-indulgence and self-destructive activities since the death of his wife. Ferend is almost completely self-taught when it comes to his family’s elemental prowess. His father neglected Ferend’s studies and training when he turned 10 and Berend declined into what he is currently. Having only three out of eight volumes detailing training regimens, skills, abilities, stances, and styles Ferend has had little to work with. Berend, in his incessant madness, destroyed over half of the family’s knowledge on their ability and forsake his duty to teach his son how to properly wield it. Therefore, Ferend knows only slightly more than the basics. He, however, wields the family’s heirloom Barou. This sword’s history is unknown to Ferend who merely believes it to be a well-crafted weapon. Berend’s knowledge goes much deeper.
