Crestfallen valor bard, who picked up his skills and knowledge of old inspirational stories from various sources from here and there, gradually having built his repretoire over many years of self-study. His education is far-reaching, but informal and not as comprehensive as a classical valor bard.

Ultimately, Bucks current mentality is based on his feelings of having failed his comrades. The inspirational tunes and stories he would tell never made much of a difference after the warforged had all already lived through their sorry and glory-less lives.

Buck is constantly enveloped by an all-consuming depression, that stems from a fear of what their legacy will become, the morally bankrupt things that they've all had a hand in, all fueled by his neverending stage performance down at the grimy tavern down in Two Fang's depths.

Motivation

Even though his dreams have been shattered, he keeps himself strumming along for the other warforged in Two Fang, because he knows that he's not the only one who feels like they've been cheated out of a life of glory and heroism. In some ways, spreading his music around makes him feel like it is a fitting conclusion to their story. He lacks hope for a better future and only wants others to feel comforted by shared wallowing.

Representation & Legacy

He is remembered fondly by most of his peers. He is often referred to as if he has already been dead, because his spirit has waned so precariously over the last 20 years.

Contacts & Relations

Aloof rocker boyfriend to Jennie. Their relationship is filled with drama, mostly instigated by Jennie herself. Buck is no perfect boyfriend either, as his depression makes it difficult to be the "right kind of guy" for Jennie. Despite their difficulties, they still have affection for each other and neither are keen on the thought of breaking up.
Relatively close with cronk, but mostly only because Cronk is very close to Jennie. Occasionally looks at him sideways when Jennie gets a little too invested in Cronk's relationship status.
