Haedrig's Point
A small fishing village on the western peninsula of Assyria . Heavily patrolled by royal navy ships, there is relative peace here, save for the occasional bold attack by pirates. While not commonly a well-sought destination for travellers, it serves as a safe pit stop for medium to small-sized vessels. Far from the capital, the people still revere the great city, and often regale strangers with the tale of The Comet of Cassandora.
