Beltran Lyresong

Fun lil note: Beltran got their name from the carnival costume, it's penned in faded ink on the inside of the shirt collar
If not their alarming mimicry skill, the first thing one notices about Beltran is their faded carnival attire. The costume hangs loosely off the 4'8" bird, who wears them with pride. In spite of their small stature, Beltran is capable of drawing a crowd's attention with their lyre and vocal remixes. Their songs often play off the audience, quoting their voices and shouts back to them with his own flair. Though Beltran seems to thrive under attention, their sooty black feathers and nimble movements make their quite adept at travelling unnoticed. Often, the small kenku seems unaware of their stealth, unintentionally startling their comrades with their sudden appearance.
Like all corvids, they have an eye for shiny things and an unending curiosity fuelled by adventure - a lifestyle reflected in their belongings. Upon their hip, Beltran carries a simple rapier. On their back sits the carrying case for their lute, lined in pockets stuffed to the brim with rations and simple trinkets.
