The Great Ring
Today Neoma: Moon of Astara is a lone sibling, shrouded by a Great Ring of her late brother Aegon's broken body. He was sundered by the Sun, shattering into a million sharpened splinters that descended upon Astara like hail before a mighty storm. Those fragments of Aegon that did not descend upon Astara, remained in the The Astral Sea, caught in the planets orbit and coalesced into a great Asteroid Belt that now surrounds Astara.
