" He is everything you feel, and all that you cannot see. He is all the inner workings of the cosmos. Sul is the infinite space above and between us, or so the Patrons tell us. In truth, I cannot believe in a thing that does not make itself known. "

One of the two primordial gods of creation, Sul helped create the universe. Ever since he and Gaia split from one absolute being, Sul has been seeking a way to reunite with his other half. In truth, Sul created the first of the Patrons, Coras, to help pull Gaia closer to him and bend her to his will. Perhaps his goals would have come to fruition if it had not been for Anilvim, the Patron of Chaos who was born the twin of Coras. Anilvim was born free from the will of his creator, truly chaotic in nature. It is not known exactly why, but Anilvim would always thwart Sul's plans to reunite with Gaia. Ultimately the mortals of Asterra choose to worship the patrons over Sul himself. Many are uncertain of Sul's existence despite the Patron's belief in it. Perhaps it is also because Sul does not represent the good will or good intent with the Patrons he's created. If he did reunite with Gaia, it is unknown what could happen. Many Gaian Patrons believe it could be the destruction of the universe as we know it, which is not popular among mortalkind.
