Ellymlean, Patron of Life, The Mother

Ellymlean is the governing power of Life, commonly referred to as The Mother. She is often depicted as a green haired maiden who brought life to the Mortal Plane, creating all manner of living fauna and flora. While she values life, she does not condemn those who no choice but to take it away. As time passed, many creatures and beings were warped beyond their original design by other Patrons which resulted in many creatures needing to take life in order to survive, contrary to their original design. Ellymlean is also responsible for the creation of the Patrons of Purity and Corruption, and is well known for making mistakes. Perhaps it is because of the mistakes she makes that she is beloved by many. She is seen as an imperfect Patron, closer than the others to mortalkind. She is also responsible for letting Anilvim into the material plane and the death of Gaia, though is still the most commonly revered patron in all of Asterra.
