The Pacifist

Arkhan, Patron of Peace, The Pacifist

Arkhan is the mother of peace and prosperity, a Patron lovingly referred to as The Pacifist. While they are not known to get along, Arkhan often worries for her brother Maghnus' well-being. She is often depicted as a hooded figure with antlers, wielding a walking stick decorated with vines of small budding flowers. Many believe the Pacifist often spends her time resting beneath a great cherry blossom tree, or meditating just above the surface of a pond. Arkhan chooses only to appear to those who have done their part to spread peace and prosperity throughout the land, and is often prayed to in times of war and strife. Maghnus often looks upon Arkhan with disdain and contempt, believing her to be too weak and feeble to care for herself. Maghnus still often attempts to provide for The Pacifist, checking in on his sister regardless of whether or not they see eye to eye. Arkhan is prayed to primarily by Druids, whose effort to preserve the peaceful balance of nature is seen as the best way to live life by Arkhan herself. Those who devote their lives to spreading peace are granted a place in her realm in the afterlife, spending eternity enjoying simple pleasures alongside The Pacifist and the great Cherry Blossom tree Yggdrasil.
