Iona Valstruck (Ee-oh-na)
As a seer elf, Iona has always had a strong sense of and connection to magic. She is an accomplished sorceress who is not afraid to admit when she needs help or does not understand a thing. She believes in keeping the best around because she understands she is not perfect, and more eyes on a problem will give the best solutions. She is always giving students opportunities to show off and achieve as much as they want to.
It is quite unusual for a sorceress to receive the title of Archmage as generally, it goes to the most well-studied wizard, but despite her lack of training, Iona displayed a level of magical understanding that even the most accomplished wizards lacked. Her innate connection to the arcane allowed her to craft strange and wonderful devices, such as the weather barrier, as well as improve old magitech. Her achievements far outweighed her peers and thus it was decided that she would become an Archmage as one of the few sorcerers in all of Kinars history to reach the title.
