Palawaki
Palawaki is a sea serpent. Sea being relative, as he lives in Crystal Lake. Long ago, his parents had traveled up the Blackrun, searching for an artifact who's existence had been passed down as their heritage for centuries. Living in the fresh water took its toll on them, as they were greatly weakened, and eventually disappeared on one expedition, leaving behind a young Palawaki.
As a serpent born in fresh water, he is more adapted for the water, but his growth has still been stunted, and he appears much younger than he actually is. He has chosen to continue his parents' hunt.
Recent Events
Due to an archeological find uncovering mention of the artifact, there has been an uptick in ships searching Crystal Lake for the Coconut. In an attempt to stop these treasure hunters, he has taken to attacking ships, spawning rumors of a monster in the river. Following the Party allying with him and attempting to retrieve the Coconut, he has calmed again and has promised not to attack so many ships anymore.
