Knight-Lieutenant

A Knight-Lieutenant is the lowest officer rank in the Regulators, commanding all ranks in their company from Knight-Sergeant and below. Knight-Lieutenants help their Knight-Captain to issue orders to their men, and are frequently put in charge of varying amounts of troops when it is necessary to split up a company. A Knight-Lieutenant also assists their Knight-Captain in administrative matters, and are frequently used to write letters as their Knight-Captain dictates to them.
