Udrallia Invaded by Wildfolk

Military action

The first raids by the Wildfolk into Udrallian territory occur. This is the first confirmation of long held rumors of the "savage" folk living north of the Daggerspine Mountains. In an effort to stem the tide of invaders and protect his citizens, King Udral orders the construction of the Northguard Garrison across Jaggedscar Pass, sending many soldiers and resources to the location to fortify it. This slows the influx of invaders, but some Wildfolk still make the trek over the Daggerspine Mountains to assault Udrallia.

• Euralus sends pact troops to Northguard Garrison to reinforce it. - While he leads a small team of negotiators to the Northern Wilds to find and hopefully make peace with the wildfolk
• They make their way through the dangers of the Northern Wilds, but the wildfolk know how to avoid them, and they have a hard time tracking them down
• Finally, they come across a wildfolk hunting party under attack from a large creature.
• They help defend the wildfolk, who are surprised, but suspicious of their aid.
• They convince the wildfolk to take them to the wildfolk King
• Wildfolk reveal along the way that the King seems to have a vendetta against the southern lands for some reason, and has been inciting the wildfolk to raid them
• After meeting the King of the Wildfolk, Euralus notices a slight oddity in their appearance. He casts dispel magic and reveals an Imperial wizard, Valas Nilokos
• Nilokos had convinced the wildfolk that he was one of them using magic, and had climbed his way to the throne using duplicitous means
• Wildfolk are furious, and tear him limb from limb
• Wildfolk are extremely apologetic, as obviously they had been duped, and spend some time to elect a new leader, eventually settling on a Queen: a leonin by the name of Aranni Coldclaw, who offers to journey with Euralus to cease the war on the southern lands
