With relations between the three Kingdoms at at all-time low point, The Astorian Pact sends Arthan Euralus to each kingdom, hoping to negotiate some kind of agreement. Euralus manages to convince the three leaders to meet in the neutral city of Ristarron and discuss what to do about each of their individual problems.

After several days of discussions and arguments, none of the three Kingdoms can agree to which threat should be dealt with first, and negotiations begin to falter again. The three nations are now on the brink of war with each other, each led by stubborn and ambitious leaders who see a possibility of expansion if they can play their cards right.
