Four thousand seven hundred and sixty-three, that is the age of our city, Humanity's first home in this new expanse. I care not that it does not resemble your Envien or Moneyye, this City, the First City, is the brightest spark in a galaxy of endless darkness.

The First City, known officially as Horizon City, is the first, and oldest Human settlement in the Galaxy of Astraesto. Located on the planet Horizon, the city was founded by colonists from The Homeland, and has remained settled for nearly 5 millennia. Currently controlled by the Federation of Anfieden and Allied Planets, the City is widely considered as a generally unattractive and unwelcoming place, though still sees substantial tourism, and is inhabited by a hundred million souls.
The City was not named during the initial colonisation, with it sharing a name with the planet until the founding of New Lyanir, whereupon the City was formally named Horizon City, after residents and leaders could not decide upon anything else. For a brief period, the city and planet served as the administrative capital of the New Terran Republic until the planet of Viperia became the capital in 12AC.
