Beast's Island
Beast's island is a remote island that was uninhabited and previously undiscovered. Beast was marooned there after an accident and spent a significant amount of time there before he was found by Sir Nigel Stoneturn.
As the island was previously undiscovered and no country or organization holds claim over it, Sir Nigel claimed the island for himself and named it after Beast. Ownership of the island has been written into Nigel's will and is set to pass to Beast himself on Nigel's death if it isn't given sooner.
Ecosystem
Beast's Island is an island with an astonishing variety of creatures, many of which are unnaturally big or dangerous. Sir Nigel Stoneturn described the island as "exceptionally dangerous," and does not wish to return there without extensive preparation and without the local guide - Beast himself - to guide them.
The island is also home to a unique phenomenon where many different and contradictory biomes exist in really close proximity, such as a desert existing right next to a dense jungle. These biomes slowly move about, growing and shrinking over the course of weeks. The animals that live here can often transform into different species when crossing biomes, though they usually stick to a certain ecological niche, such as a cat turning into a fox to stay in the "small, agile predator" niche.
