Rootwood Institute for Magic

The Rootwood Institute for Magic is considered perhaps the greatest learning and arcane research institution in the world. Though the classes are relatively small compared to some of the other schools of magic, its fame comes from the massive number of prodigies it produces and the massive research laboratories it has.
The Rootwood Institute for Magic, also known as Rootwood, is built right on top of the roots of the World Tree in Azuros. This gives the institute prime access to, and control over, the wood of the world tree, allowing them some control over the teleportation network it provides.
It is a rival institution to Winmond Magic Academy, located in Winmond.
