A spread of strange of monster behaviors troubles the local wildlife, with black-sludgelike creatures trudging across the land and attacked crazily, Adventurers are called to resolve the matter before it grows out of hand.

With a topic that began with the insurrection of the local wildlife, adventurers would discover a strange sliem-like substance flowing in rivers across the land, where the slime would surge, it would coat creatures in it's depths, driving them to insanity and rendering them wild and vicious. All of this being driven by one creature in particular - a large beast that continually emitted polluted air.   The Adventurers, able to find this beast by the ceaseless plumes it emitted, had to exercise caution, for if they breathed in too much of the sickening air carelessly, or were exposed to the slime for too long, they'd put themselves at risk, which required at an active and decisive strike led by Myohou Hoju, guiding her two allies, the Knight Fortis and the Beast Tamer Alyara into a direct assault against the creature.   With the Katanas wielded by the two females, they were able to exact sharp cutting strikes - wounding the beast, who would launch projectiles that covered the sky, only for them to be blocked and covered by the shield-bearing knight, who did his best to ensure neither scratch nor injury would make it's mark upon his compansions.   After a tense combat, they exacted a heavy punishment against the slime, only for a creature to be ejected from it's depths - a humanoid, one familiar to the explorers as "Bill" who had been traveling under the guidance of one Indra Noscios. With only a vague memory of events, his body was quickly giving out due to the unique mutations he had suffered.   Yet, Alyara remembered the healer Coaltl, whom at her behest - and the swift speed of Fortis, they were able to quickly deliver him unto his hands, and prevent the man's untimely death and receive what would be a better recounting of the events he had experienced.   Among the things surrendered however, was a strange coin with mystical markings, one that could - potentially be used amidst a specific teleportation ritual as a focus and allow for the expedited return to the location from which he had left - a key item for the future of the second expedition.
