This strange alien 'wizard' named a 'Greytiarch' by Conrad was encountered on Conrad and Yami's first explorational outing through the 'Glassway' located within the Tower of Minds. She was recorded singing by Yami's scouter and cybernetic implants, and relayed back to Gunny after she gained access to his implants, and thus the feed. The song seemed to be able to disrupt the implants and the feed, and upon her death, the feed was cleared up.
She seemed to be channeling different types of primal 'magic' or 'energies' into crystals. Conrad was able to see the 'energy' or the 'soul' of the lesser alien thralls upon a death granted by his gun, or Yami's Blood-moon Katana. Strangely Yami's Sunkatana didn't release this 'essence' from the bodies, as if it had sundered it when it 'ashed' by the blades sunlight. Conrad found that he could destroy the crystals with ace, even when filled with the various 'energies' purple, and orange, which to him seemed like the warm Solar energy of Yami's katana, and the cold Space between everything. How this creature was able to channel the raw energies of the cosmos is a mystery to Conrad.
Witnessed in this outing were runes, which Conrad believes were constructed by this very 'Greytiarch'. Conrad, being able to read them with his Devil's Sight, found that they were literal runes. Reading 'Lift' to lift massive plates in the tower, as some sort of elevator system. At the towers top, where the battle took place, before it was eaten by the ground, Conrad read runes which chilled him to his bones. Yami had found earlier that the tower was coated in the thin blood of the lesser thralls, and Conrad believed he found where the source was. Around the edge of the tower, were spiky rocks with an alien rune which simply read 'Death'. He was glad that their resonance stopped with the 'Greytiarch's' demise.
