Guild of the Fire Forge

A guild of gnomish artisans and artificers, known empire-word for their exquisite work and outrageous prices. They are closely aligned with the Dwarven Alliance, who are more than happy to supply the Guild with the precious materials needed for their creations.
In gnomish, the official motto of the guild is "Brotherhood through the fires of creation." Their unofficial motto in common is "if you have to ask, you can't afford it."
The guild has an unfortunate tendency to produce megalomaniacs - Doctors Frank N. Steen and Orren Wren were both associated with the Fire Forge, although both artificers were officially disavowed by the guild and their peers. Publicly, anyway.
