The Misadventures of the Krom Krushers Report

General Summary

With the safety of Monterra entrusted to the Krom Krushers while the Scions of Hersey are back on the mainland, General Pullo summons the group to inform them that a large detachment of the Black Brigade was seen near the Kildrak Mines with heavy excavation equipment.  Pullo tells the group that the mines are an abaondoned Dwarven venture.  Officially, the mine was abaondoned because it was no longer profitable.  However, rumors swirl that the Dwarven dug up something that should have remianed hidden.
The Krom Krushers agree to scout the area, but are approached by Salem the Cat who convinces them that instead of checking out the Kildrak Mines, they should take a detour and claim the allgedly unguarded hoard of the fallen dragon Abraxis.  Outside the dragon's lair the party runs into a seemingly disorganized platoon of Black Brigade soldiers led by one Cpl. Kilgore.  The Scions ambush Cpl. Kilgore's soldiers and find they are on an unauthorized mission to steal the blue dragon's treasure as well.  The Krushers chase them off, and find the secret entrance into the lair.
Once inside, the Krushers find a secret entrance to an armory, which has enough arms and armor to outfit an entire company of kobolds.  They easily overwhelm the defenders and Miralee uses her staff of fireballs to set the armory ablaze.
As the Krushers continue down the tunnel they run into two basiliks.  They manage to kill the first one, but not before Luke is turned to stone.  They start the adventure preparing to defend themselves from the second basilik.
