Apotheon Relics

The Apotheon Relics are powerful magical artifacts from the ancient days of the Kingdom of Déon. Each houses a divine fragment of the essence of one of the Foretold Champions, a group of quasi-deities venerated by the Déonian elves. The great power within these items have made them objects of great desire, and many struggles have been fought over their ownership. Through the centuries, many have been scattered to the wind and lost to time. Currently only one of these Relics—the Rod of Two Moons—has been recovered.
The Relics are powerful items that grow in strength with the willpower and experience of its bearer. Over centuries of disuse, many Relics have reverted to a dormant state. In a dormant state they confer powers and abilities to their wielder, but over time and personal achievement the Relics can reach awakened and even exalted states. Through this evolution the abilities they grant similarly grow in power.
