Carmilla Valenti

Carmilla Valenti is a Hildonian historian and archaeologist. She is the younger sister of Viniza Valenti. She led several unsuccessful attempts to discover the lost Déonian ship Sword of the North that eventually led her to cross paths with Grom and Ra'zon in Meicor. Together they were ultimately successful in finding the shipwreck, which contained a large crystal protected by a powerful lich. After researching the crystal and the lich's notes Carmilla determined it to be the fabled Heart of Déon. Soon after returning to Meicor, she and her crew were attacked by strange ethereal figures which seemed determined to take the Heart from her. Joining forces with Anton von Rheintach, Carmilla and her crew fled the beings as well as the coup d'etat in Meicor for the Argendivan city of Vermilla. There she left the crystal in the safekeeping of the Order of the Doleful Aspect before returning to Alcaster to delve into further research of the crystal and determine what should be done with it.
